Bataknese is a tribe that lives in most of North Sumatra.  Every Batak person must have a "clan" (Marga in Indonesian), if they do not have a clan, they are not Bataknese people, hehe. Bataknese people always uphold their clan. Every two Batak people meet, they must ask what their clan is. Why is it like that?
